Will i have a significant increase in performance if i change my lapto

Currently i have :

HP Compaq CQ42-254TU
Core i3 M350
320GB HDD
8gb RAM

I'm thinking to change to an ultrabook, but my budget is around the Dell XPS 13, HP Folio 13, and Acer S3. Will there be a significant increase in the my daily usage?. Im using Eclipse, Netbeans, Photoshop, Video Playback,

If the CPU is a 3rd generation Intel, and same amount of RAM and hard disk space or more, then you might see a performance improvement.
