I'm having some intermittent computer problems. Sometimes I get programs
that all of a sudden "wont respond" and have to end them and then usually
restart to use again, like my MSN explorer and occasionally word or excel.
Also I'm occasionally having an issue where my wireless adapter all of a
sudden won't recieve any signals. There are several wireless networks in my
area and all of a sudden it can't see any of them including my own.

The one common error in my event viewer is
McLogEvent 5028

VirusScan McShield service received an invalid filename from the NaiFiltr
device driver.
Received name = \GLOBAL??\TFSWIFS
Process = explorer.exe

That's usually followed shortly in the event viewer by
Userenv 1517

Windows saved user THEDELL\The Kruegers registry while an application or
service was still using the registry during log off. The memory used by the
user's registry has not been freed. The registry will be unloaded when it is
no longer in use.

This is often caused by services running as a user account, try configuring
the services to run in either the LocalService or NetworkService account.

I downloaded UPHclean and I think it may have fixed the Userenv error, but
I'm still getting the McLogEvent 5028. I think it's associated with my
Mcafee virus scan somehow.

I'm using Mcafee Internet Suite 2005 Version 7.0

Any thoughts at all are appreciated.

Thanks,
Keith
