When I try to open system restore I get this: An exception occurred while
trying to run
"C:\WINDOWS\system32\Shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL"C:\WINDOWS\system32\system.cpl',System. This is Windows XP and can someone help ?

Hi Matt,

Reinstalling System Restore should fix the problem.

Note: All restore points will be lost. But that doesn't matter because they can not be
accessed anyhow.
