Hello,i downloaded windows 7 ultimate to my toshiba satelite r205s500 and the dvd driver stopped working what should i do?

Did the DVD Drive stop working, or the DVD driver? Big difference.

Although a DVD doesn't "need" a driver, it's part of Windows 7 basic operating driver package, using a generic driver.

So is it your drive?
