Can't get my Win2000 laptop networked to my main WinXP computer.
WinXP's Home Networking setup disk is not compatible with Win2000,
won't work at all. Win2000's Home Networking setup chokes on
"cannot find NETCONN.EXE".
The Win2000 PCMCIA card is working fine, with normal 'net access. My
WinXP normally networks with 2 other computers in our home, Win98SE
and WinME.
A 'net search for Win2000's NETCONN.EXE comes up blank. Can't even
download it off Microsoft. Can't be found on my Win2000 CD, or on
my WinXP CD.
Suggestions on how to get these 2 computers networked together would
be appreciated.
