2D quality in Geforce 3

I am going to buy a geforce 3 and the brands that are the canditates are asus pure and leadtek. I read at anandtech that the asus has a very bad 2d quality but for leadtek i haven't found any review for 2d. I have a desktop of 1280x1024 so it is important things to look great at my 19" monitor (a sony g400p). Can someone that uses the above cards tell me his/her opinion?

Um how can u compare teh Radeon 8500's 2D quality when it hasn't really come out yet. Get teh Leadtek- I have one and it's great.
