Hi I'm wondering which is better.

I know the GeForce 2 MX 200 is the worst out of the lot.

Thanks.

Theorectically the MX-400 is better than the MX but since most come with 200MHz Core/166MHz Memory the advantages of the higher clocked core aren't realized. Gainward and Asus and some other companies ship enhanced MX-400 cards with clock speeds of 200/200 or more (up to 250/260, I believe)! These are the fastest MX cards available and can rival the GeForce2 GTS in some cases (up to 1024*768, after that the GTS is still faster).

why going with an inferior product if you can have much more with radeon LE or even better kyro 2 ...
for the same price...

True, if you don't go with the GeForce2 MX then go with the Radeon LE instead of the Kyro II because the Radeon and GeForce line of cards are more widely supported than the Kyro II.

Elsa GeForce 2MX 400 will cost me £64 pounds, Radeon VE 32MB DDR AGP OEM VO DVI is £65, In what ways would this card be better than the MX400? Which does better 3D at a resolution of about 1024 x 768, because that is the the main thing I am looking at.

Cheers for all your advice so far guys.

No, we're talking about the Radeon LE not VE, the VE is extremely slow! If you can't find the Radeon LE (which is an open OEM package), then get a GeForce2 MX-400.
