Geforce 2 MX400 & AK72

Hello,

A few days ago I bought a new Nvidia GForce 2 MX400 video card and I tried to install it on my motherboard (an AOPEN AK72).
Unfortunately when I tried to restart Windows 98 SR2 the process crashed several times.
Then I tried to install Windows 98 SR2 and Millennium from scratch (format C but the procedure looped after the scan of my hard disk.
Apparently the install procedure can not recognize my new video card.
My old one was a Nvidia TNT2 M64 and everything was OK.
I updated my motherboard Bios (R1.11) but without any success.
Could you please tell me what I did wrong during this installation and if my motherboard supports my new GForce 2 ?

well I had such proplems like this befor the proplem is with u r AGP speed make sure that u r AGP speed is 4x or 2x and u r card have the same speed becuase the diffrent in the speed make such proplem.
