I just recently bought a new video card, and i know how to install it, as
well as remoces previousa nd all that, my problem is that everytime i try and
install the drivers the installshield just kinda sits there and does nothing
ive left it for more then an hour, shouldnt take more then a couple minutes.
i am tryign to reinstall the installshield, but i dont know where i can get
it, ive attempted numerous ways to install my drivers, all of them use the
installshield, can anyone help me.....

I've had a similar problem on occasion, and found that, for me, all I had to
do was shutdown extraneous running processes.

Have you set the drivers for the card back to Windows default before
attempting to install a new driver?
