ATI Radeon

I have an ATI All-in-Wonder Radeon AGP, and I'm trying to figure out a way to get dual monitors working as well as all the features (TV, DVD, hardware openGL/D3D, etc)

I'm running Windows 2000, 384MB ram.

Is there any way to do this (ie: buy an ATI All-in-Wonder Radeon pci, or buy the Radeon VE pci if there exists such a thing)?

Any input for a solution would be greatly, appreciated

you have to either buy a second pci card and figure out how to get it to work with two video cards or buy a video card that has dual monitor inputs... like the radeon 8500 or some other card that has support for dual monitor.

Well Windows I know has automatic support for dual monitors as long as you have a display adapter for it, but if i use a card that does not have the radeon features on it, it will disable those features that the second card does not support.

I guess my real question is: if I buy a PCI All-in-Wonder Radeon, will it give me full features AND dual displays?

thanks

just buy a cheap pci card and try to get it to work.

It has everything to do with free interrupts... unless you have win2k .. you have to worry about free interrupts or IRQ's ... they control your hardware and you don't want a conflict!

so ya thats what i would do just buya cheap 60 dollar card ... you already have the ati all in wonder agp ... it has the features already ... right? i don't know why you want two all in wonders?

I already tried a cheap video card, but I forgot to mention that my mobo won't support dual monitors unless it boots the pci card as primary, so now the crappy card is primary and the agp (ATI) secondary, this is what gives me the problems. So I was wondering if buying the ati all in wonder radeon PCI and then booting that as primary and the agp secondary would give me full features and dual displays.

PS: i wouldn't even be posting here if ATI bothered to givem e a stright foraward response :(

do this.. buy the radeon 8500 or some other card with dual display.. then buy a tv tuner card. that should solve your problem and then sell your ati all in wonder card. it's 147 now so your not gonna get much... but ya.. it's an idea that would work.
