My fallout 3 keeps crashing on windows 7

I jut bought Fallout 3 for the computer on steam, and I have windows 7, a great graphic card that I checked if it could play Fallout 3 and it said excellent. Then I clicked play, and it just Crashed! It says cannot connect. Thats it. HOW DO I FIX IT!

You have to check your system performance, here are the Fallout 3 system requirements:

I have this game too and it runs fine with my 32bit Windows 7, I didn't have to do compatibility mode either or Administrator mode.
