Alright I have a major problem on my hands. I Have the Gforce2MX400 32Mb, I loaned my room mate the TNT2 32Mb, and for some reason his system is out preforming mine and it is really getting to me. His system scored above 6000 on 3DMark 99 and on the same program I only scored 5440. I know there has to be something I can do because my fps seems to stay at a steady 60 fps and typically doesn't fall too far below it but really won't go above it at all. I need help on any suggestions you might have on what I can do to get my system performing at the level it should. Here are the stats on our systems

3DMark 99 is not optimized for any of the new features of the GeForce2. Both your GeForce2MX and his TNT2Ultra have the same amount of bandwidth so there is nothing in your card that makes it superior to a TNT2Ultra in old games.

AMD technology + Intel technology = Intel/AMD Pentathlon IV; the ULTIMATE PC processor

I had a simular problem with a friend of mine. I turned out that he was using a old ata 33 cable for his Hdd.
Also try upgrading/downgrading the drivers as this CAN have a big effect.
