is an amd e2 processor considered good with 4gb memory and 500 gb hard drive. Walmart has a HP laptop on sale that looks OK but I don't want to buy something that is going to be not good enough just because its $348

Nah that processor is slow. The only thing its good for is browsing the web. You will regret it a few months after you buy it. Better to pay an extra $100 and get something that will last you a few years.
