Hi, I recently got a new microphone for my computer. I have Windows XP
(I believe it's Professional) and I'm having trouble recording
anything. I thought that it might be because I didn't have the proper
recording program, so I downloaded Audacity. Still, it doesn't work. I
took the computer and the mic to the Geek Squad at Best Buy, and they
told me that there was nothing wrong with the mic, and I have to
uninstall something. What could that be, and what's wrong with my
computer/mic?
