I recently purchased this laptop: HP DV7T 7000

and a Yamakasi precision 2703 LED IPS monitor with 2560x1400 resolution.

I had to convert the DVI-D to HDMI via a dongle. When I plug it in, my laptop BSODs and shows 'Bad pool header' as the error.

I have tried updating the drivers, etc.

Does anyone know why I'm getting this error? I'm pretty sure the Intel graphics card doesn't support 2560x1400 but I know the GT 650M should. Does my HDMI port only connect to the intel?

I'm quite unsure of how they have the two graphics cards configured, but I'm willing to bet it is the reason I am seeing this error. Any ideas?

I opened the Nvidia control panel and happened to click on the physx configuration. This is what I see: http://i.imgur.com/U2V7q75.jpg

It's clear that the ports on the side of the computer go to the HD 4000 - but how can I connect to the 650M port? I'm curious if it is available internally - and if I can connect one of the HD 4000 ports to it.
