I was searching for the best (freeware) MP3 encoder using LAME and i found out 2 programmes..The WINLAME and the RAZOR LAME(with graphical interface). I was wondering if anyone could tell me which one to use? ThankS!

Those are both just frontends for the LAME encoder, so whichever one you find easier to use is the better of the two.

The quality of the MP3s produced will depend only on the encoder and the parameters used. Both progs let you specify parameters.

I use RazorLame. Try them both and pick which one you like.

Do make sure, however, that you have the latest stable release of the LAME encoder to ensure the best quality. You can get the latest version from, among many other places, <A HREF="http://mitiok.cjb.net/" target="_new">this site</A>.
