Anyone have experience with Hitachi's monitors, or more specifically the Hitachi CM615 17"?

I like Hitachi, I have a Gateway VX900 (Hitachi internals). Great picture, .22mm dot pitch, 2 years old and works great! They are also priced well compared to other monitors with the same pixel size. I have noticed that they seem to be a little more prone to damage from power surges than an NEC. I work with a lot of older systems and NEC's seem to be the most durable.
