Possible SATA HDD problems

I am preparing to make an attempt to make a clean upgrade install to Windows 7. I have a question that I would like answered before I start. I have learned the danger of having problems with SATA Hard Drives during installation. Should I, as a average user be concerned about this? My data is backed up on Carbonite.

    If you go to 64 bit you may want to see if all software is compatable.
  3. Your hardware should run Win7 x64 without any issues, just make sure you have the latest drivers from ...

    Intel = Motherboard chipset support
    Nvidia = GPU
