Greetings:

Does anyone know what security setting or registry key I can modify to get
the IIS 5.1 documentation to correctly appear in Windows XP IE?

When I enter http://localhost/iishelp, I get the two windows that I would
normally expect conatining the IIS 5.1 Documentation. In the main content
window, the documentation content does appear on the right hand side, but on
the left hand side, the content and index panes are empty.

The problem only occurs when I try to view these pages using MSIE. The
complete documentation and contents information appears without issue if I
use Firefox! So since the content appears in IE, and the contents pane
appears in Firefox, I am sure you will all agree that this has to do with an
IE setting. Any ideas???

Speaking of which... has anyone else noticed that a lot of Microsoft sites
(hotmail, msnbc, msdn) seem to be working less well with a locked down IE
configuration and better with alternative browsers? Its getting to a point
where it seems the only thing IE is good for any more is Windows update!
