First off thanks to everyone who posted answers and advice on my post of "What did I do wrong". Each one was a huge help with my problem. Buuuuuuutttt!! I have just figured that I did the ultimate No-brainer mistake when it comes to computer systems. I wasnt thurough enough!!! My GF 2 MX200 card has driver conflict error code 24 after I load it. Have tried many drivers, even un-clocked the system backl to original specs. I just noticed something today,...I cant find under properties in device manager a IRQ setting for the graphics card. None are listed, I guess now I see why the cards not working properly. Daaahhhh!....I checked my older system and the graphics card there shares a IRQ setting with the PCI steering!! Should this G-card Im trying to load have the same IRQ eg...Shared with PCI steering?? I have 15 IRQ settings listed and each one is filled with one or more items. I guess my question is "can I assign the IRQ setting for PCI steering to this card and have them both share this setting?? And the last question is....How di I do that??
I apologize to everyone that attempted to help me with this proplem from earlier post, I wasnt thurough enough on my troubleshooting, I have just never heard of an item like this being loaded without an IRQ setting being assigned to it. Thanks to all again
That last bit of info from Toejam solved the problem. It would have been solved way way sooner if I would have just payed attention to details. Thanks again to all that attempted to help me out, especially Toejam and Crashman!
