I have been running windows Me, but decided to switch completely over to Win2K. I FDISK'ed a clean partition, formatted the drive, and booted from the WIN2K boot disks, and when I was on the fourth one a dark blue screen came up that says I don't have a hard drive. Any ideas?
My system is as follows:
Asus A7V133 (with Promise ATA/100 Controller)
Athlon Thunderbird 800 MHz
IBM Deskstar 75GXP 45GB HDD
256 MB PC133 RAM
ATI Radeon 32 MB DDR

I had absolutely no problems installing W2k on KT7 boards, A7V would not even format the drive completely... heh, I wonder that you got that far with it.

"akuna mutata" braza...

Actually, once I found out that the Promise ATA/100 driver was considered a SCSI device by W2K the install was a breeze!
