Don't know if any of you have been interested in this, but Microsoft
has launched an alternate reality game at http://ourcolony.net/ (similair to the "ilovebees.com" thing they did for Halo 2.)
Anyways, at the homepage there is a link to another site called the
human clock (http://www.humanclock.com/). I don't know if this site was
creted just for the game or if it has existed for four years as the
webmaster says, but either way there are a couple cool classic gaming
references on the site:
- on the homepage is a picture of a Vectrex with a light pen
- there is a link to a subpage about their Atari 2600 based web server
- there is another link to a subpage about their Tandy web server
- and finally the web server maintenance page has an array of classic
hardware... doing yoga.
I suspect that if this site really was around for four years, some of
us here would already know about it. So, anybody recognize this place?
Regardless, I really got a kick out of the Atari server cartridge!
