It might support AGP 8X since it's going to be supported by some motherboards, but who knows for sure?
It probably wont have a huge affect on performance.

apparently, nvidia says that the agp 4x standard is the limiting factor in what they can do now...and that if they up it to 8x, then they can do a whole lot more....
