Office 2010 and BlackBerry Bold sync problem

I just installed Windows 7 - 64 bit and Office 2010. I now discover ( I know, a little late!) that my Blackberry Bold Desktop Manager will not sync with Office 2010. According to BB website, Aug. 2010 they will release a 32 bit update but not a 64 bit update until next year. I am like Office 2010 so far but don't like that it won't sync to my BB. I have thought that perhaps I could install Outlook 2007 to get around the "non-sync" issue with Office 2010. Any other thoughts out there?

Are you using the 64 bit version of Office 2010, or the 32 bit version?

Is it that they just didn't release an application for your OS (64 bit Win7)?

You could install Office 2007, if it worked before.

Thanks for your feedback. Both OS and Office 2010 are 64 bit. I will go back to Office 2007, it worked with my BB.

Just as an FYI - I have read a number of articles, including recommendations from MS, about not using Office 2010 x64 - I would stick with the 32 bit versions for now. If you haven't read about those issues, you may want to look at it...some pretty major possible problems there.
