I recently bought a laptop and I started playing games on it, but since my graphic card is bad and i can't change it (cuz it's a laptop), I'd like to know : If i connect my laptop to a HD TV, will I be able to increase my resolution while playing games ? If not, are there any other possibilities to prevent lagging when playing games in high resolution ?

It would still be going from your laptop for graphics.

Your question is a little unclear. Are you having to lower your resolution to play smoothly? If you can't play smoothly at your laptops resolution, going to a TV with higher resolution will be worse.

But, if you're saying you just want to play at a higher resolution and your laptop has smooth game play, then you can try using a TV as an external display to enjoy a higher resolution picture.

I have to reduce my resolution to play games and i'd like to find a way to increase it.

Sadly, I don't think there is a realistic way to achieve smooth game play at a higher resolution.

You might consider turning down the quality of the graphics, that is, turn texture quality to low, turn off AA, shadows, etc. You might get better frames at your desired resolution then.
