Acer aspire 5315 laptop recovery disk

yes i have an acer aspire and it does not want to show any thing on the screen i have tried safe mode and all and i get the safe mode or normal etc screen but when i ckick on any of them it starts to load and then nothing but the cursor any help or ideas as to how to fix this

well i can not get to that point just to safe mode etc screen and when you click on any of the choices like start normal it goes blank and just the cursor arrow stays on screen can not get to menu or any thing and if i hit f8 it wants a password and i do not have it and as far as i know never put one in so i am stuck at that point any ideas i can try..thanks
