Asus vs Hercules

i am buying me a new system but i am not sure which graphics card to buy.

the system i will buy is :

Mainboard : Asus A7V266
CPU : AMD XP Athlon 1800+ 266
Memory : 512 MB DDR 266
Harddisk : Maxtor 61.4 GB 7200 rpm UDMA 133

which graphics card should i buy ?

Asus V8200 Deluxe 64 MB GF3
Hercules Prophet2 Titanium DDR 64 MB
Hercules Prophet3 Titanium 200 DDR 64 MB

furthermore i am not sure to buy this mainboard or that i should buy a raid mainboard (probably jetway) with 2 40 gb harddisks

any suggestions/comments/experiences/... about the graphics cards ? or about the rest of the system ?

I'd go for Asus definitly, it is bundled with loads of software and features, and comes with 3d Glasses!
Now the Prophet 2 is a GF2 card so if you want GF3, stay away from this one.
The other is the Ti200, which brings me to another topic: If you can locate an Asus V8200T2 Deluxe, it is Ti200 with the Deluxe stuff I mentioned, which is worth much more than the Hercules one. Now I am not sure if the Asus one is out yet but very soon. It really depends now on your price spending, but right now, if you're in a rush, go for the Asus GF3 DLX.

i checked some benchmarks sites as well .. but those are just numbers to me .. they tell a bit, but i am not experienced enough in the area of graphics to judge anything by them

never knew the prophet2 to be a gf2, thats nice info.
