At that budget, you might have to bend a little and choose what is most important.
The Lenovo Y580 is a pretty good deal at $999 with everything you're looking for minus the SSD but its a bit heavy.http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/web/LenovoPortal/en_US/catalog.workflow:category.details?current-catalog-id=12F0696583E04D86B9B79B0FEC01C087¤t-category-id=AC523278A4F13F27A84F5F5622D1AC7A
I have the Y400 and it has been outstanding. It's also under your weight limit.
It has a little less graphics power with the 650m vs 660m but it is smaller, lighter, has a backlit keyboard, and looks great. http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/web/LenovoPortal/en_US/catalog.workflow:category.details?current-catalog-id=12F0696583E04D86B9B79B0FEC01C087¤t-category-id=6716C35E262487E9B548B6298FE58D3B
You do sacrifice screen resolution though, but those mobile graphics just aren't great at higher resolutions anyway.
My 650m lets me play games like League of Legends, Starcraft, and Diablo 3 on high and games like BF3, Skyrim, and Planetside 2 on Medium.
You can opt for the $800 one with the 16gb ssd, or do what I did and get the $750 one and put in your own 250gb Samsung pro series ssd for a total of around $1000.
Edit: I forgot to mention that the Y400 also has the Ultrabay so you can add a second 650m graphics card for $230 more down the road if you feel you need it. http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/web/LenovoPortal/en_US/catalog.workflow:item.detail?GroupID=460&Code=0C22230
