G'Day, what i mean by unregistered is that you do not need a license for it to work.
I want to try before i buy an original version.
I have windows xp 32 bit on my pc at the moment and want to install
window7 Ultimate 64 bit.
I have transfered all files and settings to another HD.
When i try to run setup.exe it will not run?
Do i need to Format my C Drive first and then install Win7? or is there another way to do it.
Any advise would be appreciated.

A pirate copy? Sorry, can't help you with that. No telling what it might do to your system.

Using a pirated version of Windows 7 can cause great harm to your computer (not to mention that it is illegal). Learn about the risks of non-genuine and the benefits of genuine Windows, here http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/genuine
