Building my own system. Plan is Athlon XP1600+, Shuttle AK31 rev3.1, 512 DDR, 80 GB WD 7200. Use for digital photo and amateur video editing and web browsing. No games. Maybe DVD later. Video card is driving me crazy with choices. Have read many reviews but wanted some "real world" comments and ideas, not just benchmarks.
Thinking about Matrox Millenium G450 and CardExpert GeForce2 MX Twin View Golden Sample. Radeon 64MB DDR VIVO sounded good but lots of complaints about driver problems.
