Refresh your pc without affecting your files

If i use the Refresh your pc without affecting your files in the pc setting-general do i need to reactivate?

Depends on which manufacturer and what refresh does... you have read the manual or help file of course ?

I believe I tried this once, however it was with the Release Preview before Windows 8 hit RTM. I am 99% sure I did not have to reactivate, but I was not paying close attention to that aspect of the Refresh feature.
