what brand of geforce to get?

after looking at video cards for a while, i have noticed that there are many different brands out there, could someone please tell me which is the best? or if it even matters what brand, and another thing, when it comes to graphics cards, is house brand good? cause thats what im looking at now. and also, would i have any compatibility problems with windowsxp and and nvidia graphics cards? thanks, ladr

whenever looking at graphics cards or motherboards, you can't go wrong with asus.

hmm...where to start..umm...
all the companies that manufacture video cards w/ the nvidia chip perform identically. you wont notice the difference between the cards.
now, the brand that you want is basically based on what you want.
if you want a geforce3 with lots of extras (software bundles, games, 3d glasses), asus , gainward/expert, and hercules are good.

if you just want the card without any extras, pny is good.

if you want something in the middle, leadtek winfast and possibly elsa is good.

im not sure if any of these cards have VIVO and tv out and all that stuff though. hope i helped at least a little.
