Thanks for that info, my remaining questions is this though:

The only thing I still have problems understanding is this
partitioning....I thought that if I clean the C: drive that would be
avalibale for me to install all programmes onto again? So, do I read
correctly, when I delete C I have to come up with a new letter? Any
which I like? Just asking because I do have a DVD player and a CD
recorder on that pc, plus various ports to plug my memory stick in...
