I5 3230M or 3340M?

Hi,

I'm looking at getting a new laptop but am wondering if anyone has any advice on the processor.

My options are an i5 3230M or an i5 3340M. The 3340M is 0.10GHz faster and with turbo boost to 3.4GHz instead of 3.2GHz but is also £40 more expensive? Is this really worth it or will the difference be negligible?

Going to be using it for university work and also occasional gaming.

The other difference is that the Intel HD 4000 is clocked 150MHz higher in the i5-3340m. I suppose if you want to maximize gaming performance using only the Intel HD 4000, then go with the i5-3340m. But I don't think it is worth it.
