Having already programmed a working text adventure on the 2047 byte MAX
BASIC of the Commodore MAX (UltiMAX) [See: "Castle Belmar"], I am
attempting to write a small text adventure like THE SMURFS by Johan
Berntsson and Fredrik Ramsberg in the Atari 2600 Spectravideo Compumate
BASIC:

I would be mighty impressed with a Compumate version of THE SMURFS.

It that even possible with Atari 2600 Spectravideo Compumate BASIC?

Hell, I may even try a version for the Bally BASIC using a
number-driven menu system (since Bally BASIC lacks major strings).
