Hey, I'm having slight issues with my network. 3 of my computers are
connected to a router and all 3 are able to access the internet. The problem
is 1 of the computers is isolated in the fact that it can't access either of
the other computers' shared files or attached printers. I've checked all the
shared settings that I know of but still can't fix the problem and bring that
computer "into the loop" as it were. Any help would be appreciated, thank
you.

Sounds like a firewall is active on the LAN card of those systems

Mark, as discussed before, I still have this same problem with just two
PCs on the network. I can see and access both printers on the XP Home
PC from the XP Pro PC but I cannot even access the XP Pro PC from the
Home PC. I have disabled all firewalls, I can Ping successfully from
each PC to the other. I have granted the permissions on the XP Pro PC.
When I try to Add the XP Pro Printer on the Home PC I get the message,
Windows cannot connect to the printer. Either the printer name was
typed incorrectly or the specified printer has lost its connection to
the server." The printer Shared name is HPLaserJ and was correctly
specified and the Printer is on line and working on the XP Pro machine.

From the XP Home machine when I go to My Network Places and select the
Local Network I see both PCs listed. If I try to select the XP Pro
machine I get an error message that says I do not have permission to
access the PC. I don't know what else I have to do. I have even tried
turning Simple File Sharing on and then off again with the same result.

Have you tried setting up a User on the Pro machine that is IDENTICAL in
every way to the one used to log on to the Home machine? (ie same username,
same password and same access rights)
That's the usual cause of the message "You do not have permission to
acces...." as in a peer-to-peer network, the security information is held
locally on each machine. In other words you have to physically tell each
machine which users that exist on the network are allowed to access it.

No login is required on either machine. They just boot to the desktop.
Also, there is no problem accessing and usint the printers on the Home
PC from the Pro PC. I did not have to setup anything on the home PC
other than enabling the Network card.

Then that may well be the source of your problem. Has the log-in on the Pro
machine got a password? (Even if you use auto-login)? AFAIK Pro NEEDS a
log-in with a password to be able to be accessed from other machines. The
printer sharing is something completely different as you are effectively
using the machine as a print server and no files are accessed by the client
machine
