look at nvidia's site and see what the difference between your chip and the quadro version is. the only difference i think is that certain things are anti aliased that werent before. but not sure...i dont think that you gain much speed from it, and the risk involved in the mod is a bit too much, unless you are a soldering whiz! with the small resistors that you have to move, mistakes are multiplied 10 fold.
i havent done it to mine, and dont think i will...in my eyes, not worth it.

First off, there is a thing called Rivatuner which messes with teh drivers to make it Quadro. In addition, please don't tell NVidia about that happy little website- if u ever visit teh forum section I'm teh guy Chris. Performance gains will be in OGL, but decrease in D3D (slight decrease in performance). The good thing about rivatuner is u can always switch back. Now, performance gain is tremendous if u use Maxtreme or Powerdraft (3D S Max and Autocad optimizations).

If it's working...overclock it!
