The Radeon 7500 has 64MB DDR RAM running at an effective 460MHz. This is greater than the GeForce2 Ti (which is effectively 400MHz DDR and equal to the GeForce2 Ultra). The core speed of the Radeon 7500 is 290MHz, but it only has two pipelines so it's theoretical fill rate is less than the Ti or the Ultra. However, in modern games, memory bandwidth is more important than fill rate which makes the Radeon 7500 competitive with teh GeForce2 Ti to GeForce2 Ultra. As far as I know, the pricing is also competitive to the GeForce2 Ti, or at least that's how it is where I live in Canada. In my opinion, it is worth getting, if you care more than just about 3D. The Radeon 7500 includes extras such as hardware DVD playback, Dual-monitor support and higher-quality 2D.
