I recently either had a virus or a program that deleted something in either
the registry or who knows what but after deleting the program that caused the
problem, Whenever I try to either run a program via the "Run" command prompt
or by clicking its icon, I get an error message saying "Windows cannot find
<path or file>. Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again.
to search for a file, click the start button.....etc.". It even says this
error message when programs try to access dll's like rundll32 or something
else. I checked to make sure they were in the right place, and they were. The
only ways I can get it to run by right clicking the icon and selecting "run
as" and then running it as a user without illegal program protection on (the
checkbox below the selected user) -or- by opening a file that needs that
program to view it, therefore opening the program...weird. Could there be a
registry problem? any help would be kewl...Thanks.

Go to start/run, and type: REGSVR32 Shell32.dll
