GeForce2 MX400 Problem

I've just bought a Siluro GF2 MX400 and it appears to be working perfectly, particularly in my fave UT, yet in games where I'm unable to select any alternative resolution the screen is split horizontally into 2 mirror images. Is there any way of rectifying this?
Any help would be most welcome. Thanks.

Always try the easiest, or most obvious , first right ?
I would do some TESTS, real FUN !!!!!
Try changing your mouse, if you can find small enough diapers that is ! Just fooling )
Try changing the resolution in Windows before you start that problematic game of yours.
Try bringing down the slide bar from the "acceleration" option of your video card in "control panel", "display" somewhere there. I have an old game that only displays properly if i do this.....
Post all your tests so others, KNOW what you've tried !
