Alright, I have the following:
K7S5A
1.4tb
GeForce3
512ddr pc2100

I get like 6650 3dmark2001 scores. I'm running win2k with the latest det drivers. I dont understand how people are getting above 7k with similar setups.

have you tried using any older drivers?
not much older but say, 21.xx?

have you checked your bios to see that you are running at 133/133 FSB/clock?

it could be any number of reasons...
im thinking that it's win 2k cuz win 2k is good for gaming...but not as good as win 98se.
or it could be your motherboard...it may be a slow board.
may be your cpu too....tb's aren't as fast as athlons.
i dunno either...

I don't claim to know anything about everything, I just tell people what I know.

It's not a slow board but it's not the fastest. You can't raise the fsb through the bios over 133.
tb's are athlons, but they are not athlon XP's.

The score you are getting perhaps could be a little bit faster but it's not a bad score mate, i wouldnt complain. You probably wont notice any difference in games if it was just over the 7K mark. The features of your card are good such as shadow buffers.. have you seen the shadows on the game 2 demo high detail? nice..

I'd say that is a very good score with what you have, and remember that the TB was not as good in scores as the P4, until AthlonXPs came out.
I'd say also look on the drivers, the motherboard possibly and some other tweaks but you still have excellent results.
