Is there any way to access the bios of a computer with another computer,
via a direct link or a router? I am sure that the bios have been affected
and attempts to boot from either a floppy or cd get ignored in the loading
process and the bios canot find the module to activate the periferal
devices ie: keyboard, mouse, usb ports. I am at a total loss of how to do
this.

Most BIOSes are available only when that computer is initially booted. The
usual procedure is to hit the DEL or some other key while you watch the
memeory being counted on the screen. You cannot access the BIOS on one
machine from another.

I would hope not, or we would all be in a lot of trouble! (-:

Imagine if someone could kill your computer on a whim - make it totally
unbootable. Scary thought.

So does anyone have any idea how I can correct this problem of the computer
not loading the module for the keyboard and mouse, or the usb ports? or is
this thing a boat anchor now? I can get it to boot and load windows xp just
fine, but cant do anything with it because the tools don't load.

You mean like the Magistr. range of worms that came out for Windows and
specifically tried to rewrite BIOSes?

Yet another reason not ot use OE/IE.

Ok lets ask this, Is there any trick to kind-of force the program to look
at the A drive first, like it is supposed to, so that some sort of rescue
disk would work?

I suggest you read your manual or go to the manufacturers web site to find
out how to get into your computers bios. It's not rocket science. Once in,
set your bootup options. You may have 2 or 3 slots (boot positions) that you
can fill with the device of your choosing.

The most common method to access the BIOS, if you have lost the
instructions, is to hold down DEL while booting. I will admit
that is not the only method.
