Some nice pictures in there. What is that "Hummer" game? Is that some
sort of dedicated game based on the C64's hardware?

SWRAP 2005.

Folks who were there will need to add comments to describe some of them,
as I have not had time to annotate.

As soon as I free up a bit of room on the server, I have a 1 minute
video I need to upload. At the post-EXPO gathering, Jeri snagged some
ridiculous talking, dancing alley cat thing (in the same lines of the
talking bass, if you understand that). In true Jeri fashion, she ripped
out the controller, wired up a user port connector to the various motors
and solenoids of the unit, and Leif Bloomquist used his remote control
car expertise to write a small BASIC app to drive the various cat
appendages. With Leif at the controls, Jeri's "Commodore Alley Cat"
danced to Dance Dance Revolution music.

Jim: "OK, let me help control. E is eyes, M is mouth, What's the U and
D keys do"
Jeri: "A** up and A** down!"

That should sum up the tone. Oh, and that was 1 AM or so, and the
gathering lasted pretty much until breakfast.

We later improved the program to use a joystick for control, that made it
much easier to control (and funnier!).

Another interesting experiment was to synchronize the cat's motion to SID
output. Sean (Pegasus) showed me how to look "inside" a SID routine while
it was playing, so we were able to write a short ML routine to make the cat
dance in time to the music. ;-)
