Here may be a real stupid question.

How do I turn off the annoying email notifications when I log onto WinXP?

I've got a new PC with XP Pro, however my older machine that was upgraded to
XP never showed the # of unread emails at the logon screen.

How can I turn this off?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Edit the Registry

Turn off Email Notification
Navigate to:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\UnreadMail\[Youremailaddress]]
Name: MessageCount
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: (0 = disable, 1 = enable)
