Hey everyone....here is the deal. I am building 6 computers for a law office with the following specs:
DFI AK76-SN Mobo
TBird 1.2
128 MB Crucial
CMI8738 Sound
Linksys 100TX NIC
Deer 350W PS
WIN 98 SE
The problem is that I presently have a Savage4 32MB (AGP) video card and it has been a royal pain in the A**! I get weird things like non-square desktops (one side of the frame is shorter than the other - it is not a monitor adjustment either!), black screens after WIN98 splash screen (which then results in a hard-lock) etc. etc. Anyway, I am ready to move to a different card - preferably ATI, just because I have more experience with their cards - however, I need suggestions as to what might be best - they don't do any gaming or anything of the sort. They just require a BASIC video card (preferably AGP) that will work with the VIA 686B chipset that is resident on the DFI board.
Any help you can give would be most appreciated. If you need any more information, let me know.
