Need Help, Newbie Question

I was using my 3dfx Vodoo 3 3000 AGP 16M RAM video card and worked fine. I use 1280 x 1024 resolution. Recently I bought a new video card which is Creative 3D Blaster GeForce2 MX 400 64M RAM; however, the image is not as sharp as the Vodoo card, I mean all the image on desktop. Is there anything I need to consider or to configure so I can the image as sharp as before? All I know is the refresh rate need to be adjust but I tried all but not very good. Please post what I can check or to do to fix this.

Have you downloaded latest graphic drivers? Might help.
