That shouldn't have required any proof.

He screamed at me because I told him the mx200 was faster than the tnt2

Frank and Bert were on crack when they did that test.

<A HREF="http://gamershq.madonion.com/compare.shtml?2067265" target="_new">http://gamershq.madonion.com/compare.shtml?2067265&lt;/A> on a Celeron 850 system with 128MB of RAM, STANDARD TNT2, driver revision 6.31 (maybe they used old drivers?), the MX200 only did 2700, and I'm wishing more and more that I would have posted those results at madonion so you could see those as well.

Oh, but WAIT, I also had both cards overclocked to the max, which I believe was 150/180 for the TNT2 and 220/190 for the MX200. But I think it was simply lack of optomization by Frank and Bert, using the wrong driver revision for the TNT2, that scewed the results. Either that or the fact that Quake 3 is Open GL and 3D-Mark is D3D, It is possible that the TNT2 sucks at Open GL. But who plays Quake? And what other game uses Open GL?

What's the frequency, Kenneth?

Yes, it should require proof, as the TNT2 consistently outperforms the MX200 in D3D, do to the fact that it has TWICE the memory bandwidth! And I do have some proof of this!

Oh come on!!! You don't need to be a rocket scientist to know that the GeForce2 MX200 is the slowest modern graphics card ever to exist. Even previous generation cards are faster!! T&L can't save the MX200!! It has been proven many times that modern processors are in many cases faster than static T&L units.

LoL come on a 100/200 radeon 8500 can spank it.

Nice Nvidia and ATi users get a Cookie.... Yummy

Can't spank it for $35, unless you take the 8500 out of the box and put it in an SiS graphics card box at your local discount computer store.

lol, my old ATI XPERT@PLAY 98 graphics card probably ties the GeForce2MX200. That's sad.

OH, god, the ATI expert series, what were they thinking?

They were great cards at the time. They were all powered by the ATI Rage Pro chip. The XPERT@WORK and XPERT@PLAY had the original drivers and 4MB VIDEO MEMORY. The XPERT 98 and XPERT@PLAY 98 had the new "Turbo" drivers and 8MB memory. In most cases the slightly revamped XPERT 98 was up to 50% faster than it's older counterpart.

I had an X-pert@play 2000 and it score around 1400 in 3D-Mark 2000 I think. Maybe it was lower.

The newer Xpert cards used the Rage128 and Rage128 Pro chips with a 64-bit SDR memory interface. Does that remind you of anything?
