Desktop(task bar) keeps reverting back to XP style

Hi! I'm using Windows XP sp2 and want to use the Windows Classic theme
but keep the start menu in the XP style. I right clicked the desktop,
selected Windows Classic, went to advanced and set the color to my
liking. Works fine--everything in Classic Style including the task bar
and start button and the start menu in the XP style(which I want). BUT,
every 3-4 days when I start the computer, the task bar and start button
have reverted to the XP style (the desktop is still Classic style and my
color). I change it back, it's O.K for a few days but then the task bar
reverts back to XP style. I tried saving my selection as a theme with
new name but it didn't help. Any ideas?
