I want to move on with Linux for my business, but I need to find something that I can keep data in with some OK front end. What can be found, I don't mind to pay for it if it is good to use (paid for Office once;)

..this is very useful and helpful place for information...

Here's a little something that might help:

Haven't set this up personally as I do most my MySQL stuff through the command line. Old habits, hard to break, etc...

Sounds like you want Rekall:

<A HREF="http://www.totalrekall.co.uk/" target="_new">http://www.totalrekall.co.uk/</A>

OpenOffice.org also has a reasonable front end for basic data entry. Set up a data source to talk to your database, and then away you go.

lol, it's "back to school" time I think, thanks guys. I'll try all of them, but Rekall looks like would do for MySQL. Now have to get it and play with it for a "bit" ;)
