I'm going to get a new PC which will come with an Nvidia graphics card, which I want to keep as my main graphics card, but I also want to get an ALL-IN-Wonder card to watch TV. Does anyone have this configuration? Will I need to do anything so the two cards won't interfere with each other?

There is no problem if you counld find a AIW PCI board, and you need a second monitor for the board or you need to switch monitor with two cards installed. But why don't get a ATI TV wonder board which can serve your purpose of watching TV or record video.

Yeah, TV wonder is enough. U could even try TV wonder VE(cheaper but handy). They're very similar, though TV wonder have a S-video port. . Be warned that the recent driver is really buggy(7.1) The driver come with CD is fine(6.x?)expecting a new release. I do like the DVD playback of ATI cards, Nvidia has the worst DVD(video)playback quality ever!!! So if you watch DVDs, a All in wonder 128( pro) should be enough

Once I used my i386/34+i387 and 4 MB Ram for CAD...

I want to build a dual card system too but my intention is mostly to extend my desktop onto 2 monitors under Win ME. So I may go for the ATI AIW PRO - PCI. Certainly, the TV tuner (PAL) & Video i/o is an add on value. As it is not justify to spend HK$450 to buy a 8MB PCI display card using not so updated ATI 3D RAGE PRO chipset. I'm now checking with ATI whether it will work with my ASUS V3400 TNT/TV AGP 2x display card. So will keep you update is you are interested.

I have a dual card system. I have GeForce2 on my AGP slot and ATI All-in-wonder 128 pro on my PCI slot. It works great.
The secondary monitor does not support any of the fancy feature come with the graphic card. You will have to switch it to primary monitor. For example if I want to play game I will set the Geforce2 card to primary and if I want to watch TV I will change my All in Wonder to primary.

I basically want to record TV but with a decent quality. I heard the usb tuner didn't have that good of a quality, so I wanted a board. I also like the fact it came with 2 firewire ports. I thought about getting a Sony which had their GigaPocket, but all the consumer reviews were horrible. I would prefer to only have one monitor hooked up that could see both cards. I figured that would give the best performance for TV while the other card would give me good performance for other stuff. I plan to have the TV as a kind of background while surfing or programming. It would be cool if it could off load graphics use to both GPUs. Are Nvidia's really bad at dvd playback even the latest Geforce? Are there any monitoring software that show's the use of the GPU like window's task manager? I think I'm going to opt for only the TV wonder and I'll watch out for the driver versions.
